I take her with me wherever I go

I take her with me wherever I go. Never far from my mind or heart

Her diagnosis changed our world. Our loss of her changed the path.

My life’s purpose now so intertwined with doing for others what I couldn’t do for her.

If we had our time over again…I sometimes ponder what could have been different.

So difficult going against the grain;

So difficult challenging that white coat;

So difficult hearing that voice tapping on your heart when fear, uncertainty and timeframes loom.

So, I will write and publish again. I will treat and teach as many as I can, knowing the very people I help will be to somebody else what she was (and still is) to me.
